“Melikgazi is Being Equipped with Parks”

Melikgazi Municipality, which has successfully completed projects in the construction of green spaces and parks, is bringing five new parks to the district.

Parks, construction of which has begun in the Yıldırım Beyazıt Neighborhood, Kayabağ Neighborhood, Şirintepe Neighborhood, and 30 Ağustos Boulevard, are being introduced to the district as a place where citizens can socialize and come together, relieve stress, and provide a fun-filled environment for children.

Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. stated that they have brought nearly 300 parks and vast green spaces to Melikgazi in six years. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “Our efforts to increase the prosperity of our district continue. We said, ‘2025 will be the Year of Parks and Gardens!’ We are keeping our promise and introducing new parks and green spaces to our citizens. We have brought nearly 300 parks and vast green spaces to Melikgazi in six years. We have currently begun construction on a total of five new parks located in the Yıldırım Beyazıt neighborhood, Kayabağ neighborhood, Şirintepe neighborhood, and 30 Ağustos Boulevard. Our parks, designed to meet the specific needs of each neighborhood, can include amenities such as sports complexes, gazebos, benches, walking paths, tennis courts, soccer and basketball courts, children's play areas, fitness areas, and green spaces. Our work is progressing rapidly. I wish our new parks success and blessings. I thank my colleagues for their efforts.
