NAZMI TOKER VISUAL ARTS CENTER WILL BE THE HUB OF CULTURAL AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES
04 April 2024

Melikgazi Mayor, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, who transformed the former stone building Nazmi Toker School in Hunat neighbourhood into Melikgazi Visual Arts Centre, will add colour to the city centre by restoring it. He stated that they will soon open the facility after conducting inspections.

It Will Breathe New Life into the Marketplace with Its 7,000 Square Meter Park

Reminding us that there is very little time left to bring a very stylish and beautiful venue with art workshops to Hunat, the heart of the city, Mayor Palancıoğlu said, 'We are about to realize another project in Kayseri's centre, encompassing visual arts, fine arts, and many cultural and social activities. Within the Nazmi Toker Visual Arts Centre, various workshops will be offered, ranging from handicrafts to oil painting and ceramics.' With exhibition halls, workshops, and a cafeteria, it will encompass many features. While restoring this building, we also aimed to preserve its natural stone texture. We have introduced a new central park here that will provide relief in terms of aesthetics, green space, parking, and traffic in the city centre. Our park will breathe new life into the city centre. This will be one of the most enjoyable and pleasant parks to spend time in. From now on, it will be a wonderful venue for various events and programs. A very elegant and centrally located area with easy access has emerged. Congratulations to Kayseri and Melikgazi.
