AK Party Kahramanmaraş Deputy, TBMM Internal Affairs Commission Member, Headquarters Deputy Head of Political and Legal Affairs Mevlüt Kurt and his accompanying delegation met with Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu and held a meeting about Melikgazi Municipality's projects and services.

Following his visit to Melikgazi Municipality, Kurt toured Melikgazi Municipality's visionary projects, including the Melikgazi Municipality Mehmet Altun Aviation and Space Technologies Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, the Historical Gön Han, the Melikgazi Municipality Ali Başyazıcıoğlu Family Health Center, the Quran Course and Mosque, the Historical Kiosk Madrasa, and the Melikgazi Bazaar. He also met with shopkeepers in the Grand Bazaar and the Kazancılar Bazaar.

Mayor Palancıoğlu, who hosted the tour of the Melikgazi Municipality Mehmet Altun Aviation and Space Technologies Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, said:

“Similar aviation-related investments are also underway in Kahramanmaraş. Therefore, we also visited our high school. Melikgazi Municipality Mehmet Altun Aviation and Space Technologies Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School is one of the 13 high schools in Turkey under the auspices and support of the Presidency of Defense Industries and the Ministry of National Education as part of the ‘Diamond Model.’ It began education on Monday. We thank our Deputy for his visit. The children here are among the most successful and achieve the highest scores in Turkey. Motivating and preparing students for the future is important. Therefore, we will motivate our friends and students by bringing high-ranking guests to our high school from time to time. In this context, I would like to welcome and thank our esteemed Member of Parliament, our District Chair, and their delegation.”

We are now beginning to see the fruits of this importance more clearly and concretely. In terms of the defense industry, we have now brought the performance of many domestic defense industries to eighty to ninety percent. Here, we are focusing on the importance of this defense industry in terms of education.” We were delighted to see such an investment in Kayseri, which has been initiated and continues in 11 provinces, regarding the aviation high school. All of our students here are very successful, selected students who will make significant contributions to Turkey's future development in the defense industry. Strategically, under the auspices of our President, various studies were carried out in various fields in 11 provinces. We wholeheartedly believe that these young people will achieve great things in the future. Because our youth are our future. We have always believed this, and our President has always believed this. Therefore, we will see the benefits of these investments for Turkey in the future. The fact that such an investment is in Kayseri truly takes on even greater significance. I believe that, God willing, our students here will soon achieve great things for Turkey, both in the aircraft industry and in the related defense industry, both after graduating from high school and in universities.
