Kayseri
Following the meeting held in the Free Zone, a visit was made to Rail Tur Wagon Industry Inc. and Kayseri Inc. The Water Treatment Plant and infrastructure works were inspected on-site.
Providing information about the work in the Kayseri Free Zone, Kayseri's gateway to exports, Mayor Palancıoğlu stated the following:
“Infrastructure work in the first zone of our Kayseri Free Zone, where the old zone's factory area was located, has accelerated. Currently, all infrastructure works, including sewer, rainwater lines, natural gas, electricity, and fiber cables, are progressing rapidly on 5.5 kilometers of the 55-kilometer road. We have carried out many projects in the Free Zone. In addition, infrastructure work is important. Hopefully, our roadworks will begin. Today, we are hosting our Kayseri Member of Parliament, Mr. Şaban Çopuroğlu. We visited him and provided information about our work. May God help all our industrialists. Indeed, industrialists are extremely important for Turkey. They export, create employment, and produce. This is high-value-added production. The Free Zone is Kayseri's gateway to the outside world and to exports. Approximately 25% of Kayseri's exports are made in the Free Zone. Therefore, we thank all our industrialists.
New investments are gaining momentum every day in the Free Zone. Hopefully, we will have made great progress with the completion of the infrastructure works.
Congratulations!
MP Çopuroğlu:
“They are working on an area of nearly 55 km² as if they were doing needle lace.”
MP Çopuroğlu, who declared Tuesday as Industrialists' Day, stated that the work being done was being done one by one, as if they were doing needle lace, and added the following:
“ On Tuesday, we held a meeting at the Kayseri Free Zone as part of Industrialists' Day. We thank our Free Zone President and the Chairman of the Executive Committee. We also had the opportunity to evaluate the work being done there.
“Let's see the work firsthand,” said the President. “They are working an area of nearly 55 km², one by one, as if they were doing needlework. They are trying to complete the infrastructure and superstructure work in time for winter. We accepted the invitation to coffee from our industrialist here, and we thanked him. We had a chance to chat and discuss what we could do on common ground. We will strive to continue this approach in our future visits. From what we've learned, we think it will probably be over before winter arrives. We wish you all the best.”
