Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu and AK Party Kayseri Member of Parliament Ayşe Böhürler met with students of Melikgazi Municipality Mehmet Altun Aviation and Space Technologies Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School within the scope of the "From the Filter of Years to the Experience Platform" program.

AK Party Provincial Chairman Hüseyin Okandan, AK Party Melikgazi District Chairman Tayyar Şahin and Melikgazi Municipality Council Member Gökhan Ülke also participated in the program.

Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. expressed his pride in having brought to life an important school that will shape the future of Kayseri and Turkey. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, "This is the second year of our Aviation High School. Our first year is an English preparatory class. Our students speak English very well. We have many students from outside Kayseri as well. We are the municipality that builds the most schools in Türkiye, but this is the school we value the most. We provide a lot of support here for the future of our children. We take our students to TEKNOFEST. We took them to TUSAŞ and ASELSAN. The motivation of our students increases with these activities they participate in. We will have project support for our students who start the first year. We have started working with the Astronomy Department of Erciyes University to launch Turkey's first national cube meteorological satellite. The space agency will also support us. The participation of these young people in these university projects will contribute to their development. The Air Supply will also support this within the scope of the protocol, God willing. Therefore, these young people will not have any problems in terms of work and experience." He said.

“This High School, Provides Good Counseling and Guidance for Young People”

Expressing his pleasure at meeting with the young people, AK Party Kayseri Member of Parliament Ayşe Böhürler also said the following: "It's wonderful to see so many bright and promising young people together. The future of Türkiye is promising. I am very happy to be with you. This high school is a sign of a very important breakthrough for Turkey. Kayseri was the center of the aircraft industry in the early years of the Republic. Later, the factory was closed due to various circumstances. The increase in the number of students studying here is a source of pride for us. You are the vision of Türkiye in the 21st century. This is what we mean by the Turkish Century. It is important to create a TEKNOFEST youth that can build its own aircraft, does not buy parts for its aircraft from abroad, and knows how to use and produce technology. At this point, I also know that Selçuk Bayraktar is a role model for all of you." Selçuk Bayraktar was a pioneer in many inventions that would change the fate of Türkiye. With UAVs, Turkey's military superiority in the region was further strengthened. Now, together with the youth, with you, we will take this even further. In the future of aircraft technology, some of you may be technicians, some may be producers, some may be users. As people of a country that possesses this technology, you will be important figures of the Turkish Century. It is a pleasure to see this sparkling energy in your eyes. We need a role model for everything. We definitely need an ideal and a dream for the future. I am sure you have all chosen your path. This place will provide you with good guidance and direction. I congratulate you all. I also thank Chairman Palancıoğlu for bringing me together with you.”

Mayor Palancıoğlu gave AK Party Kayseri Member of Parliament Ayşe Böhürler a tour of the school at the end of the program and provided information about the school.
