The Mayor of Melikgazi is Dr. Mustafa Palancioglu said that in order to avoid any negative consequences on the sidewalks used by citizens intensively, cleaning work was carried out with the newly purchased hand-operated snowploughs.

         The Mayor, who said that they bought these tools to clean the sidewalks faster, is Dr. Palancioglu said:

       “In the anti-snow work, the staff are also accompanied by mini shovel snow for use on the pavement. These new small machines do shovel snow manually. It is quite effective on the pavement, one with a brush and the other with a knife. We started using it in our municipality by buying six units. It itself is small, but its function is large. More serial work is emerging and useful in terms of labour. We are strengthening our vehicle fleet with new technological equipment for more qualified and more serial service.”
