Mayor Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, who aims to listen to the demands and suggestions of citizens through the Mobile Mayor application and engage in face-to-face conversations with them, was warmly welcomed with great interest at his first stop, Anafartalar Neighbourhood.
Driving the Mobile Mayor vehicle himself to reach out to the citizens, Mayor Palancıoğlu expressed that the application has been received with great satisfaction by the citizens. He continued his words as follows:
We are currently in Anafartalar Neighbourhood. Today, we launched the first Mobile Mayor application in front of Latif Başkal Mosque. Our first Mobile Mayor session saw a great turnout. Our neighbourhood head, women, men, children— all our citizens were here. We listened to the needs of the residents here, took notes, and discussed what we can do. I hope that we will implement these as soon as possible. Our goal with the Mobile Mayor application is to be as close as possible to our citizens so they can reach us and communicate their demands. To facilitate this, we inform our citizens of the meeting place and time in advance through SMS and social media. Going forward, my technical team and I will personally visit our neighbourhoods, announcing beforehand, so that residents can attend these meetings in their own neighbourhood and convey their demands to us. Congratulations on the first implementation of Mobile Mayor. We will continue this practice in several neighbourhoods every week. We aim to sit down with our citizens, have tea together in a friendly atmosphere, and hopefully fulfill their requests.

After listening to the demands and suggestions of the citizens, Mayor Palancıoğlu also conducted visits to local businesses in Anafartalar Neighbourhood. Citizens who expressed their satisfaction with the Mobile Mayor application thanked Mayor Palancıoğlu for personally interacting with them and listening to their requests.
