Mayor of Melikgazi Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said that the parliamentary decision was taken to provide assistance to the workplaces and their employees that were closed due to the pandemic.

Stating that such a decision was taken in order to ensure social balance in the society within the scope of the Social Municipality principle Mayor of Melikgazi Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “During this pandemic period, many workplaces could not serve for a long time. Especially eating and drinking places. Even though these places provided services, they worked with methods such as order and take-away service within limited possibilities. We took a parliamentary decision to support the tradesmen of our district, who were adversely affected by the pandemic throughout the world. Especially, if our citizens working in the service sector apply to the Social Assistance Directorate of our Municipality, we will give them food packages during Ramadan. However, some markets known as grocery chains and those working in pharmacies are not included in this scope. " said.

Mayor of Melikgazi Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said that as a tradesmen-friendly municipality, they will always support both tradesmen and employees.
