Mustafa Palancıoğlu stated, "As Melikgazi Municipality, in cooperation with many institutions and organizations, our Human Resources and Training Directorate continues to provide in-service training for our personnel. We conduct informative training sessions for our staff, both related to their work and to enable them to respond effectively and quickly to potential emergencies. Through these sessions, our employees gain knowledge and awareness. In this context, the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department provided our personnel with visual and practical training on extinguishing all types of fires they may encounter in municipal service buildings and in their daily lives, how to respond to natural gas and LPG leaks, how to assist a living being affected by a fire, the safest evacuation of buildings, fire precautions to be taken in buildings, and the use of fire extinguishing systems. With this training, our personnel learned first aid not only for fires in their workplaces but also for fires they may encounter throughout their lives. The training, which aimed to enable personnel to react quickly and correctly to potential emergencies, also taught the correct use of fire extinguishers, allowing participants to gain experience. It also aimed to raise the level of public knowledge and awareness regarding disasters and fires." Training plays a significant role in increasing preparedness.
