Melikgazi Municipality continues its hot asphalt works, which it started to make transportation safer and more comfortable in the district and to further improve the road quality in rural areas.

Within the scope of the works carried out in Bağpınar Neighborhood, approximately 2500 tons of asphalt are being used to carry out hot asphalt work on nearly 2 kilometers of road.

Stating that roads are made safer, more durable and more comfortable with hot asphalt, Melikgazi Municipality Mayor Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, "While we are carrying out intensive work in many areas in the center of our district in the field of transportation, we are also continuing our services and investments in rural neighborhoods. We have accelerated our hot asphalt works before winter to renew the roads and increase driving safety. As part of our work, our teams are renewing the roads that have reached the end of their lifespan and are deformed in rural neighborhoods, and building new roads where needed. With the 193 construction machines and vehicles we have added to our fleet in 7 years, we are producing faster, higher quality and more effective services. In Bağpınar Neighborhood, after the natural gas and infrastructure works, we have started asphalt paving. The majority of the road has been completed. Since the area being worked on is a narrow street, we are doing it with our small asphalt finisher.
