Melikgazi Municipality, which continues to be the architect of services that can meet the needs of citizens of all ages in the district, has started furnishing works in the social facility it completed in İldem Gesi Fatih Neighborhood.

We are happy to have brought another social facility to Melikgazi district where retired citizens and young people can come together, spend time and socialize. Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “In the İldem Gesi Fatih Neighborhood, there was a suitable area in front of the Hz. Ebubekir Mosque. There was a need for a place where our elders, retirees, and young people could come together, drink tea and coffee, and chat. As Melikgazi Municipality, we are bringing a beautiful and high-quality facility to this area. In this social facility, we will have various options such as tea, coffee, and toast, as well as various activities. Right across from this facility, we already have a very nice library. Our young people use it extensively. There is a cafeteria on the lower floor. Hopefully, our young people will use both that and this one. Our facility will also contribute to strengthening unity and togetherness in the neighborhood. This social facility was completed very quickly. Now we are starting the furnishing. After all the deficiencies are completed, we will open it to service. May it be beneficial for the İldem region.”
