Melikgazi Municipality, the architect of various projects in the district, is rapidly completing the 120 garden house project, the first example of horizontal architecture it has implemented in the Altınoluk Neighborhood.

Old Neighborhood Culture Will Be Revived in Garden Houses

Melikgazi Municipality examined the construction site regarding the latest status of the houses and received information about the work, Assoc. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, "As Melikgazi Municipality, we are bringing various projects to our district. We have very important and different projects such as the Melikgazi Bazaar, Aviation High School, the restoration of Gön Han and Köşk Madrasah, the Fairy Tale House, and the Toy Library. Urban transformation is also extremely important among these. We are carrying out urban transformation projects in many different areas. In addition to these, the horizontal architecture project we implemented for the first time in Kayseri in the Altınoluk neighborhood of Melikgazi is among the projects we attach importance to. We had tendered 120 garden houses. Our first project in horizontal architecture is being completed quickly. The first sample garden houses have appeared in this neighborhood. Right next to the garden houses we built in two different types within a 45,000 square meter complex, we have a high school, a mosque, a Quran course, and a park. Old neighborhoods and the old neighborhood culture will be revived here. It has been a truly wonderful project. I would like to thank my colleagues and the construction companies who contributed. We have two companies doing a great job here. These companies are also carrying out these constructions." "We are doing it quickly and in the best way possible. It has reached a major milestone in less than a year. We will deliver these houses to their rightful owners as soon as possible, and we will also put our municipality's portion up for sale by tender. The 120 garden houses, which many people will choose for their residence, also feature children's playgrounds, landscaping, a parking lot, rooftop solar power plants, and a rainwater collection area.
