Gesi Camp Center, which stands out with its historical and natural beauties and is under the Melikgazi Municipality, hosted a variety of full-fledged events throughout this summer season.

English summer camps and healthy living awareness camps organized on different dates; It was met with great interest by the participating citizens.

Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. stated that they appealed to all segments of society in the programs that continued throughout the summer. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “In our Gesi neighborhood, in a setting surrounded by nature, we organize many educational, cultural, artistic and social activities every summer for citizens of all ages in our camp center, which is a historical stone building. Since the beginning of summer, we have been holding an English Summer Camp for children and young people of various ages at our camp center. Children who improved their language skills with expert instructors also spent their time here with outdoor walks, art activities, sports, music, dance, learning and meeting activities. We also organized a healthy living awareness camp for our female citizens. Here, we held a wonderful event for our female citizens with healthy eating, proper nutrition habits, awareness training, exercises, walks, and various workshop activities. In previous years, we also organized the Melikgazi Painting Workshop, which was attended by painters from various provinces.Our events, held in the fresh air away from the noise of the city, offered a refreshing and different opportunity to the young people and women who participated. I would like to thank all our citizens who showed interest in our events and my colleagues who contributed to them.” He said.

Mayor Palancıoğlu reminded that they will continue to bring citizens together with education, culture, art and healthy living in the midst of nature, with its magnificent atmosphere and history at the Gesi Camp Center.
