Melikgazi Municipality, which also supports its social, cultural, and sporting activities for young people with educational services, organized an English Summer Camp for two separate groups.

The English Summer Camp, organized for young people aged 11-14 for three years at the historic Gesi Camp Center, nestled in nature, has attracted great interest and has concluded for this summer season, Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “As Melikgazi Municipality, we work with the awareness that every investment made in young people is actually an investment in the future of society. We organize many activities for our young people in our district and support their education. Our English Summer Camp held at the Gesi Camp Center was very popular. Therefore, we offered English courses to 57 students in two groups on separate dates during the summer. Thanks to these camps, students had the opportunity to make productive use of their free time and acquire new skills. In these courses, young people had the opportunity to learn through natural conversations, unlike in the classroom environment, and their pronunciation and fluency improved. Our students, who started the day with sports in the morning, also developed their manual skills through productive and fun workshops such as t-shirt painting, soap making, stone and piggy bank painting, nature walks, and technical field trips. These camps contribute to the personal development of young people and also contribute to their social development.
