Melikgazi Municipality, which has set an example for many municipalities with its urban transformation projects implemented in six districts, is rapidly progressing with its 120 garden house project in the Altınoluk neighborhood, one of the visionary projects it has implemented.
“Safer and more livable living spaces”
Human Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. stated that they have implemented one of the exemplary projects for urbanization centered on urban development and that the project is progressing very quickly. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, "We have implemented many services in our Altınoluk neighborhood, including a school, a mosque, new roads, and parks. In this context, we are bringing another beautiful project to Kayseri.
Our Altınoluk Garden House project is unique. As Melikgazi Municipality, we have implemented the first example of horizontal architecture in Kayseri. It is located in a very central area. Our 120 two-story garden houses in Altınoluk neighborhood, with their playgrounds, landscaping, parking, gardens, rooftop solar power plant, and rainwater collection area, will be a desirable place for many people to live. Each block will have four garden houses.
Our project, which is a complex concept, will also include small 100-square-meter gardens. Everyone will be able to plant in their own gardens. Hopefully, these projects will revive the old neighborhood culture and strengthen unity and solidarity. Neighborhood relations are stronger in low-rise developments." "Horizontal architecture supports a less dense, nature-friendly construction model. Work is progressing rapidly. I thank everyone who contributed. We hope to implement our project in other regions as well," he said.
