Melikgazi Municipality organized Traffic, Occupational Health and Safety Training for heavy vehicle drivers and construction machinery operators working in the Cleaning Works Directorate.

Saying that useful information was conveyed to those working in the field in the training given by the municipality's occupational health and safety experts and traffic police officers in the Recycling Facility Training Hall, Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “Our training and inspection activities within the scope of occupational health and safety continue. We are creating safer service areas for our employees and citizens. Our colleagues working in technical units in the field represent Melikgazi Municipality. The tone, demeanor, and attitude you use towards citizens are just as important as the precautions they take in their work in traffic. In this respect, we must always be cautious, obey the rules in traffic, and be respectful towards our citizens with our behavior. As Melikgazi Municipality, our in-house trainings will continue for the development and awareness of our personnel. I would like to thank our experts who provided the training and our personnel who participated in the training.” he said.

During the training given by traffic police, construction equipment operators were reminded about the use of seat belts, safe driving, not using phones while driving, obeying speed limits, and not smoking.

In the training, which also included first aid information, employees were also informed about traffic accidents and violations that occurred, and attention was drawn to the mistakes made.
