GREAT SUCCESS FROM MELIKGAZI'S "BRAIN CUBES": 345 YOUNG PEOPLE BECAME UNIVERSITY STUDENTS!
Melikgazi Municipality's Brain Cube Libraries, implemented with its vision of investing in youth and the future, achieved a great success story in the 2026 YKS (University Entrance Exam). 345 students who prepared for the exam in 18 libraries throughout the district became the pride of Melikgazi by being accepted into their dream university programs.
The Brain Cube Libraries, which offer equal opportunities in education and have become a focal point for young people with their comfortable and quiet study areas, continue to bear fruit. According to the YKS 2026 results, 262 students who used libraries were admitted to undergraduate programs, and 83 were admitted to associate degree programs.
PRESTIGIOUS DEPARTMENTS RISE FROM THE INTELLECTUAL CUBES
Many prestigious departments, especially health and engineering, attracted attention. In the 2026 YKS (University Entrance Exam), 82 students from the Akıl Küpü Library were accepted into Engineering Faculties, 22 into Medical Faculties, 47 into Health Sciences Faculties, 26 into Economics and Administrative Sciences Faculties, 22 into Education Faculties, 13 into Sociology, Social Services, Psychology and Guidance and Counseling, 10 into Military and Police Training, 9 into Law Faculties, 8 into Architecture Faculties, 5 into Aviation, 5 into Veterinary Faculties, 4 into Dentistry Faculties, 4 into Agriculture Faculties, 2 into Pharmacy Faculties, 2 into Theology Faculties, and 1 into Gastronomy programs, thus realizing their dreams. Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Dr. congratulated the young people and their families who earned the right to become university students by spending a disciplined study period in the Mind Cube Libraries.
Mustafa Palancıoğlu emphasized that investing in youth is the most valuable investment, stating: “We are breaking records with the educational investments we have brought to Melikgazi. We say ‘Education first,’ and we continue to work with all our might for our youth, the architects of our future. We have built nearly 30 schools in our district; we are the municipality that has built the most schools in Turkey. In addition to these, we have provided 18 high-quality ‘Brain Cube Libraries’ for the service of our youth. They have done their part in the best way possible and made us proud. I was very happy to see that 345 of our students achieved their university dreams in the YKS 2026 exam. I wish our students who are pursuing their dreams a successful academic life at university.
