Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, the Mayor of Melikgazi Municipality, inspected the on-site construction works of the Yunus Emre Mosque in Gesi Neighbourhood, which will be realized through the collaboration between Melikgazi Municipality and philanthropists.

Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu of Melikgazi Municipality, who does not set limits in service according to the needs of the citizens, emphasized that efforts continue vigorously for the mosque that will be established in Gesi Neighbourhood. He continued his words as follows:

In Gesi Neighbourhood, there has been a need for a mosque, especially due to its proximity to the cemetery. This is essential for conducting funeral prayers, burials, and for regular daily prayers. Particularly with the increase in demand for houses with gardens, exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic and earthquakes, there has been significant urban development here. Our citizens have expressed a desire for a mosque in this area. We extend our thanks to our philanthropists Celal Poyraz, Sinan Poyraz, and the Poyraz family. They are constructing a beautiful mosque under the name of Yunus Emre. It will offer wonderful facilities with its ablution fountain, garden, and Imam's residence. May the Almighty grant us the opportunity to earn halal income. May it bring plentiful, blessed, and lawful earnings. May everyone be blessed with the ability to perform such beautiful deeds. We hope to inaugurate the mosque by the end of summer soon. Everyone is invited. May it be prosperous and auspicious.

Philanthropist Celal Poyraz also thanked Mayor Palancıoğlu for their support in building the mosque.
