Melikgazi Municipality, which has brought a record number of schools to the district with its pioneering approach in education, is nearing completion on the primary and secondary school project, which will significantly meet the needs of the Yeniköy, Altınoluk, and Kazım Karabekir neighborhoods.

Construction of the project, which will be implemented in collaboration with the Melikgazi Municipality and philanthropists, is nearing completion. Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Mustafa Palancıoğlu stated that the schools will open shortly after the final preparations are completed.

After the schools, which will serve all three neighborhoods, are opened, the aim is to transfer students from neighboring schools to prevent overcrowding in classrooms.

SCHOOLS OPENING DAY COUNTING

Mayor Palancıoğlu, the architect of the slogan "The Municipality with the Most Schools Built in Turkey," stated that their support for education continues to increase, and included the following statements in his statement:

“As Melikgazi Municipality, we continue to provide significant support to education. We are the municipality that has built the most schools in Turkey, and we continue to maintain this distinction. The construction of two beautiful primary and secondary schools is nearing completion. Currently, these schools are located in at least three neighborhoods, including Yeniköy, Altınoluk, and Kazım Karabekir. It is being built to meet the needs of the neighborhood. With the help of our benefactor, Hamdi Özdemir, our construction is nearing completion in just six months. We've begun landscaping, walls are being built, and we'll build playgrounds. After the asphalt and paving work, this place will hopefully be ready for school within a month. The academic year began yesterday. Our students are receiving education in crowded classrooms at other schools. We also met with our Director of National Education; they will be transferred here quickly, and other schools will also be relieved of classroom overcrowding.
