Melikgazi Municipality, which asphalted approximately 1.5 kilometers of road on Fatih Street in Yıldırım Beyazıt Neighborhood, will start tree planting and landscaping work on the new road where pedestrian paths, median strips, and parking areas have been constructed.

Saying that they have brought many services to Yıldırım Beyazıt Neighborhood, such as new roads that will ease transportation in the neighborhood, urban transformation works, schools, parks, and mosques, Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “Temperatures have increased, we are now starting asphalt work. We are in Yıldırım Beyazıt Neighborhood, Fatih Street. We have put a lot of effort into this neighborhood, and we continue to do so. Every day, this neighborhood is getting more beautiful. We have completed a new asphalt road project on Fatih Street, 1.5 kilometers long and 30 meters wide. There was also a need in the side streets here, and we are completing them as well, God willing. We are trying to ease the city's traffic. Here, we have built a pedestrian walkway, a parking lot, and a central median. Currently, the road lighting is being installed, and afterwards, we will plant trees. Technically, for the asphalt not to disintegrate while being laid, the weather needs to be hot. I want to emphasize this especially. We reached an agreement with the owners of the shanty houses in Yıldırım Beyazıt Neighborhood and cleaned the area by demolishing these shanty houses. We carried out urban transformation work here. The first stage is finished, the second stage is being completed this year, and we are moving on to the third stage. We broke our record as the municipality that built the most schools in Türkiye.” We are not letting anyone take it from us. We built 2 schools in this neighborhood, and we are building 2 more. We built a mosque and a Quran course. We built many parks here. Families use them in peace. Also, this summer we will renovate our old Dadaloğlu Park. We will build a cafeteria inside. Our work and investments continue intensively. I thank all my team members. We are working together to create a better and more beautiful living space in our district.
