Melikgazi Municipality, will hold the opening ceremony of the "Kazım Karabekir Primary School and Kazım Karabekir Secondary School," which it brought to life with the cooperation of philanthropists, on Wednesday, May 13th.

They stated that by bringing 2 schools to life in the Kazım Karabekir neighborhood, they will meet another great need in the neighborhood. Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, "We have reached the final stage in the 2nd phase of urban transformation works in our Kazım Karabekir Neighborhood, and it is about to be completed with all social facilities and necessary needs met. As Melikgazi Municipality, we attach great importance to our children and young people receiving a good education. Our education investments are one of the most valuable investments made in the future of Melikgazi. We have the title of the municipality that has built the most schools in Türkiye. Melikgazi is growing and developing; and accordingly, the need for schools is increasing every day in parallel with the increasing population. On Wednesday, May 13th, at 11:30, we will hold the opening ceremony of our Kazım Karabekir Primary School and Kazım Karabekir Secondary School. Each of the primary and secondary school buildings consists of a ground floor and 1 normal floor, and has a total construction area of ​​1860 square meters. The schools have 8 classrooms, a canteen, a guidance service, a multipurpose hall, a school-parent association, subject group rooms, and a laboratory. These two beautiful schools will provide our students with a modern and safe learning environment. In Melikgazi, we will continue our investments in education so that our children can look to the future with hope. All our fellow citizens are invited to the opening ceremony." he said.
