Melikgazi Municipality's "Tomato Paste Boiling Days Event," which provided citizens with the opportunity to make their own tomato paste in a clean and sterile environment, concluded with record-breaking participation after 1.5 months.

The "Melikgazi Municipality Tomato Paste Boiling Days," held in Belsin from August 4-14, in Eskişehir Bağları from August 15-21, and in Evliyalar Park in the Mimarsinan neighborhood from August 22 to September 7, served 4,300 families. Citizens expressed their satisfaction with the Tomato Paste Boiling Days, which continued 24/7 for 1.5 months with 150 municipal personnel. Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. He thanked Mustafa Palancıoğlu and requested that the event be held in the coming years.

Mayor Palancıoğlu, who provides important services to citizens with an event rarely seen before in Turkey, stated that they would like the Tomato Paste Boiling Days to continue in the future and said:

Our Melikgazi Municipality has specially allocated In these areas, our citizens also have the opportunity to socialize and have fun while making their tomato paste. We have also prevented other citizens from being disturbed by the smoke, dirt, odor, and smoke in the neighborhoods. As is known, barbecues and samovars have been banned in our district as part of the fight against devastating forest fires that occur across our country, especially during the summer months. Our tomato paste boiling areas were a timely and appropriate decision in this regard. Thousands of our citizens came together thanks to our event, strengthening the bonds of unity and solidarity.
