Deafolimpic Taekwondo, held in Ankara on May 15 was the champion as a team and will be held in Iran. Melikgazi Municipality Sports Club invited to the National Team for the World Championship visited to Mayor of Melikgazi, Dr. Mustafa Palancioglu. 

     Melikgazi Municipality taekwondo sports club athlete, Beyza Basma will represent Kayseri in the European Championship to be held in Estonia on August 24 by winning the Ümitler European Championship national team selection.

    Congratulating the successful athletes, Mayor of Melikgazi Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “ As Melikgazi Municipality Sports Club for 3 years I congratulate our athletes who became champions in taekwondo for the hearing impaired. All of them, mashallah, are the light of our eyes. In particular, our friends are successful in Turkey as well as who have a say in Europe and the world, who constantly win medals in a row. As Melikgazi Municipality, we're just doing our best. I would like to thank Mrs. Arzu and Mr.Yavuz teacher for all the support and education they have given to the children. I wish them success. May Allah grant us to come to better points. They represent our country well; they are waving our flag. They also make us happy. I would like to thank our young athletes for making us proud. I wish success to our daughter, Beyza Basma, who will represent our city at the European Championship to be held in Estonia on August 24, and congratulate her.” said.
