Melikgazi Municipality, which implemented a new web-based digital archive system to protect its institutional memory and speed up the processing of transactions in municipal services, will store approximately 20 million documents in a healthier and more efficient way with the new system.

Reminding that they have made a significant digital transformation in archive management and are strengthening their technological infrastructure every day, Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “We closely follow technological developments and are implementing many digital transformations in our municipality. In this context, our R&D Directorate informed our municipality personnel about the digital archive system we have recently adopted. They introduced the new system and explained how to use it. With the new digital archive system, we are achieving a secure, organized, and easily accessible structure. With this system, it will be easier to classify our archives, documents, and files electronically, store them securely, search them quickly by authorized users, and access them easily when needed. Thanks to this system, not only will documents be managed digitally, but also the institutional memory of our municipality will be preserved and carried into the future. Authorized personnel will be able to access the system via an internet browser within the framework of corporate security policies. Thus, without being tied to a specific computer or workstation, the necessary documents can be accessed quickly and securely. While saving time and labor in archiving processes, the sharing of information and documents between directorates will also become faster and more coordinated.
