Melikgazi Municipality, which continues to beautify living spaces throughout the district, has renovated and opened a park in Bahçelievler Neighborhood where residents can breathe, walk, and enjoy their time.

In the Park Playgrounds, Gazebos, and Landscaping Renovated

Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. stated that they continue to increase the amount of green space in the district and work for a more livable Melikgazi. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “We strive to reach every neighborhood in Melikgazi and improve the quality of life for our citizens. A month ago, we renovated an old park in the Bahçelievler neighborhood, which we promised our citizens. It has become very beautiful thanks to our work. We opened our park with our headman, Rukiye Köse, and the neighborhood residents. May it be auspicious. We have provided many services to the Bahçelievler neighborhood. There used to be a livestock market here. This neighborhood is a densely populated area. This area suffered for a month during Eid al-Adha. Therefore, we resolved this problem and built a new market on a 100,000-square-meter plot in the Mimarsinan area and moved the sacrificial animal market there. Secondly, we built a very nice police station here. The Serkent area and Bahçelievler neighborhood have become much safer. In addition, we improved the stream in the area where TOKİ (Housing Development Administration of Turkey) is located. We also planted trees here, and "We've built walking paths and park landscaping. We've built a covered market, a Quran course, and a family health center. Thankfully, we've brought many services here. Our citizens' satisfaction is also high. We hope to build new facilities here. The population in this region is growing, and we're trying to meet the needs of this population. May God grant us the opportunity to serve our citizens here, all of Melikgazi, Kayseri, and our country in unity and solidarity," he said.
