Melikgazi Municipality, which has successfully completed urban transformation projects in eight districts in Melikgazi, transforming idle, old, decayed, and risky structures into modern and safe housing, and raising the district's welfare with its social amenities, is launching a new and large-scale urban transformation project in the Aydınlıkevler neighborhood.

An information meeting about the upcoming new urban transformation project was held with residents of the Aydınlıkevler neighborhood at the Melikgazi Municipality Theater Hall.

THOUSANDS OF APARTMENTS TRANSFORMED WITH MELİKGAZİ MUNICIPALITY

Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “As the Melikgazi Municipality, we are carrying out urban transformation projects in many areas of our district. We also initiated urban transformation at one point in the Çorakçılar-Aydınlıkevler neighborhood. Now, work is starting opposite the Old Terminal. Within a few months, we will remove the old blocks and begin new construction. Agreements there are over 90% complete. As the Melikgazi Municipality, we are evaluating the requests we receive and working on them. We have transformed thousands of apartments to date. We are sharing our Urban Transformation Project with you. If the demand exceeds 90%, we will continue our work. Our goal is to renovate old buildings. Our citizens are requesting urban transformation with the trust they place in Melikgazi Municipality. The building we are building in Aydınlıkevler, the first phase of our project, has reached a certain stage quickly. There are old buildings in our Aydınlıkevler neighborhood. We have conducted a preliminary study for the transformation of these areas. If the property owners agree with us, we will put them out to tender.” "We will come out.
