Melikgazi Municipality carried out a comprehensive cleaning operation in and around schoolyards to ensure that students start the new academic year in a clean and tidy environment.

Saying that they support education with all kinds of work, Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu stated that the common areas that students will use during their education in schools have been made more organized and well-maintained, saying, "As the municipality that builds the most schools, we are not only building new schools. We are also carrying out maintenance, repair, and cleaning works in our schools. We continue to support the education community and our students. We cleaned the schoolyards so that our children can start the new academic year in beautiful and well-maintained environments. While the dust and various accumulations that accumulated in the schoolyards and playgrounds during the summer period were cleaned, the overgrown and dried weeds were also mowed, and the schoolyards were swept comprehensively. In addition, pest control was carried out in the classrooms and toilets. I would like to thank our Cleaning Services Directorate teams who contributed to this. I wish all the education community, our students, and our teachers a successful, healthy, and prosperous academic year.”
