Melikgazi Municipality Police Teams conducted label, weight, price checks, product inspections, price differences between aisles and cash registers, document checks, and hygiene inspections at markets and bakeries throughout the district.

During the inspections, which were conducted to ensure that citizens consume healthy and safe food and avoid victimization, municipal police teams inspected hygiene conditions, bread weight, work permits, and food safety certificates in bakeries in detail. In supermarkets, they meticulously examined product storage conditions, price tags, and price discrepancies between the aisle and the cash register. Necessary action will be taken against businesses that violate regulations.

Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. stated that the inspections are carried out meticulously and will continue to be carried out periodically.
