Melikgazi Municipality organized an information and awareness training on covid-19 measures for personnel working in the field.

Reminding that the parks and gardens, transportation, science works, and environmental protection personnel were given training on protection from the covid-19 virus in separate sessions, Mayor of Melikgazi Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “We organized a training seminar for staff on the precautions to be taken regarding the corona virus and how the disease is transmitted. Due to the virus epidemic we have been experiencing since March, we should also pay attention to occupational health and safety, as well as social distance and the use of masks for protection from the virus. Employees should avoid contact at work unless necessary, and wear the mask correctly. In the seminar, Occupational Health and Safety Specialist Ahmet Nabi Gündüz explained the characteristics, symptoms, spread, personal hygiene, standard infection prevention measures, contamination-based precautions, the use of personal protective equipment such as masks and gloves. In addition to the health of our citizens and staff, we care about these trainings, which will ensure safe quality in our municipal services. For us, the health of our citizens and staff comes first.
