Melikgazi Municipality, completed the construction of 340 apartments in 9 blocks within the scope of the 2nd Stage Urban Transformation Project in Küçükali-Battalgazi Neighborhood and held the ceremony of drawing lots, bringing 120 families to their new homes.

340 Apartments in 9 Blocks Delivered to Their Owners

Saying that they are proud to make 120 more families homeowners, Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, “Our Melikgazi is changing and transforming with qualified urban transformation works in our district. We are carrying out urban transformation works in exactly 6 different regions. Since the day I took office in 2019, we have built 70 blocks, 3 thousand apartments, and 100 shops. This is approximately 9 billion TL. This is an investment equal to the 2-year budget of Melikgazi Municipality. Our 23 blocks in this area are being built on an area of ​​99 thousand square meters. There are nearly 1000 apartments. We demolished 241 shanty houses in this neighborhood. We will make a total of 668 rightful owners homeowners in this area. Today, we drew the lottery for 120 rightful owners. 340 flats in 9 blocks have been reunited with their owners. We started the Battalgazi 2nd Stage urban transformation work on January 14, 2022 with the signature of our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Our Contractors continues the work here as if it is being done by a single source for unity and solidarity. I would like to thank them for their work and efforts. The approximate cost of this project is 3 billion TL. This is one of the urban transformation works closest to the city center. Change and transformation have started. There is urban transformation everywhere in Kayseri. I think Kayseri will take the first place in urban transformation works. On this occasion, I would like to thank our Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Mr. Murat Kurum, our former Minister Mr. Mehmet Özhaseki and our relevant directorates for their support.
