In order to increase the comfort and safety of transportation in Melikgazi, road works are carried out in 17 regions and asphalt pouring works are carried out in 6 different regions.

The new road opening, repair, maintenance and asphalting operations carried out by the Transportation Services Directorate teams continue at a great pace.

Melikgazi Mayor stated that they started intensive asphalting works with the increase in air temperature Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, examined the road works carried out in the Gülük Neighborhood on site and made the following statements in his statement:

“This year, the heavy and long-lasting snow and rain affected the asphalt works and delayed them a bit. Because asphalt is wasted when it is poured before the air temperature reaches a certain degree. Therefore, we have started intensive asphalt works right now. Construction continues very intensively in many of our neighborhoods, especially in Becen, Altınoluk, Eğribucak, Erenköy, Haymana, Kıranardı, Hisarcık, Gesi regions, due to our citizens who demand houses with gardens due to the earthquake. Naturally, asphalt works need to be carried out in these regions. First of all, Kayserigaz, Electricity Administration, KASKİ, After completing the Telekom infrastructure, we are making asphalt, pavement and interlocking paving stones. I would like to thank my teammates. Right now, our asphalting work continues in 6 regions along with new road opening, repair and maintenance work in 17 regions.
