Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “With the warming weather, our asphalt works have accelerated in the neighborhoods where they are needed. We need the temperatures to reach a certain level before we can lay asphalt; otherwise, it won't adhere. We are in the Osmanlı neighborhood. The Danışmentgazi road connection is being constructed. We inspected the work being done on İpekten Street, where the market is located. There were requests from citizens for the asphalt to be renewed on this street. Before starting work on the street, infrastructure companies worked and the needs were met. The upper part of the road is completed, and work continues on the lower part. We will finish the asphalt work quickly, God willing. This is a very heavily used thoroughfare. I thank all our colleagues. We are working in harmony with our mukhtars (neighborhood heads), identifying the necessary needs and striving to address them immediately. As you know, the rains lasted a long time; they are still raining intermittently. We will soon asphalt this road and open it to the service of our citizens. May it be auspicious and blessed. May God protect us from accidents and misfortunes, God willing.” He said: "The roads of Selçuklu are now more comfortable and safer..." After inspecting the works in the region and receiving information from the authorities about the ongoing works in Selçuklu Neighborhood, Mayor Palancıoğlu said, "The infrastructure work here has been completed, and now we are starting to lay the asphalt and sidewalks. This area will have its new asphalt within 15 days. I thank all my colleagues. After this new road is built, our citizens will be able to travel safely and comfortably. I wish it to be beneficial." After the works carried out in 4 neighborhoods, a total of 5 kilometers of new asphalt road will serve the citizens.
