Melikgazi Municipality continues its urban transformation works in a total of 3 areas in Aydınlıkevler Neighborhood without slowing down.

With the urban transformation works implemented in Namık Kemal Street, Papatya Street and opposite the Old Terminal in Aydınlıkevler Neighborhood, risky structures that have completed their lifespan are being removed and replaced with modern living spaces.

Mayor Palancıoğlu, who participated in the demolition works in Papatya Street, made the following statements: “As Melikgazi Municipality, we are carrying out urban transformation activities in ten different areas. One of our most important neighborhoods is Aydınlıkevler. Within the scope of the urban transformation work we started here two years ago, the first stage is about to be completed; we are starting to deliver the apartments. By demolishing 9 buildings in Papatya Street, we are taking the first step towards the construction of 112 modern apartments. This area has started to become more beautiful. Hopefully, when we reach an agreement with our citizens, we will have the opportunity to completely renovate this neighborhood. Everyone knows how important urban transformation is. Our citizens should also support us and speed up this process. Because living in healthy and safe buildings is extremely important. I thank my friends very much. They work selflessly day and night. So far, we have produced over 8,500 apartments in many areas. Our urban transformation works are continuing in many areas. As we kept our promise in Aydınlıkevler, we are now starting the second phase of the works. In addition, we removed the risky buildings on the main entrance route opposite the old bus station; urban transformation has also started there. “We are in the urban transformation project in Aydınlıkevler Neighborhood, where we have just laid the foundation. We demolished the blocks in this area located opposite the Old Terminal, and we laid the foundation for new buildings. There will be a very beautiful building consisting of six floors here. Therefore, the entrance to the city from the west, the passage to Düvenönü, will be much more beautiful. Here, the abandoned buildings will be replaced by beautiful structures. With the beautification of this area, Aydınlıkevler Neighborhood is truly becoming a much different place. In the past, Aydınlıkevler "The neighborhood was one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Kayseri. As the buildings aged, it lost that characteristic, but hopefully it will return to its glittering, beautiful days. The enactment of laws facilitating the urban transformation process, the issuance of instructions, and the regulation were provided by our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
