Melikgazi Municipality has set up iftar tents at 3 different locations to share the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan and strengthen the spirit of solidarity.

"We Welcome Everyone to Our Iftar Tents"

Saying that hot meals are served to hundreds of people every day in the tents, Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, "As Melikgazi Municipality, we offer many services to you. With the month of Ramadan, we are organizing iftar programs. Approximately 400 people can break their fast at our iftar tent set up in the parking lot next to Melikgazi Municipality. We have two more locations. One is the Recep Mamur Soup Kitchen in Kazım Karabekir Neighborhood, and the other is the Özhaseki Soup Kitchen in Battalgazi Neighborhood. We welcome everyone who wants to break their fast. May God accept our fasts and bless our Ramadan. May He allow us to reach the Eid in the best way possible, God willing." Melikgazi Municipality aims to both support those in need and revive neighborhood culture with the iftar tents that will serve throughout Ramadan.
