Melikgazi Municipality has launched the Selector Building and Machinery Park, which it built to provide better quality and better-equipped services to farmers in the Kayabağ Neighborhood.

Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, who examined the Selector Building and Machinery Park, said, “We inspected the machinery and equipment park that we have put into service in our Kayabağ Neighborhood to support our farmers together with Mahmut Çelebi, the President of the Melikgazi Chamber of Agriculture. A dream that Mayor Mahmut has wanted for years has come true. The selector building is a place where agricultural equipment and agricultural tools are protected from weather conditions and where the selector device, a seed sifting machine, can be used. This is a great support for agriculture. We have constructed and delivered our building in a beautiful way. Hopefully, the selector and agricultural vehicles will be installed and this place will be put into the service of our farmers. Congratulations.” he said.

Melikgazi Chamber of Agriculture President Mahmut Çelebi thanked President Palancıoğlu for his support of agriculture and farmers, saying the following in his speech:

“There wasn’t a state-of-the-art selector in our region. Our goal is to provide better service to our farmers for a cost-effective price. We requested a state-of-the-art selector to bring to our region to produce higher-quality seeds. He didn’t turn us down. Thank you. This building is more of a machinery and equipment park than a selector building. Agricultural machinery won’t go to waste under sun, snow, or rain.
