Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Dr. inspected the newly acquired trees at the renovated Altınoluk nursery. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, “As Melikgazi Municipality, we provide services in many areas. I think the most appreciated services by our citizens include the trees we plant and the parks we build. We inspected the newly arrived trees at our Altınoluk nursery. As Melikgazi Municipality, we ‘plant trees, not saplings.’ These trees are 15-20-25 years old. We have thousands of plane trees and thousands of plants here, and this place is lush green. We will use these trees to make Melikgazi even greener and to plant them in our new parks. The trees are quite large; it takes 10 people to lift each pot. The trees are lifted from their place with cranes. Our plane trees, each at least 7-8 meters tall, will grow and provide greenery to Kayseri for 400-500 years. We have purchased many trees and ornamental plants. We purchased them by selecting each one individually as a result of the tender. Hopefully, in 2026, Melikgazi will be a green city.” "It will be the year of afforestation. We had already built many parks in 2025. We continue to beautify our district.
