Dr. stated that during the inspections, they aimed to ensure that the bread and Ramadan flatbread reaching Ramadan tables were prepared in accordance with health and hygiene criteria. Mustafa Palancıoğlu stated, “Protecting public health is among our top priorities. Bread, Ramadan flatbread, and other baked goods are particularly indispensable for iftar meals. Therefore, we have intensified our inspections in this area to protect consumer health and ensure the sustainability of production standards. In Melikgazi, we aim to ensure that our citizens have access to healthy, reliable, and standard-compliant food. During the inspections, we checked the production areas of bakeries, the cleanliness and suitability of the equipment used, the compliance of personnel with hygiene rules, and the weight and compliance with regulations of the products offered for sale.
