Melikgazi Municipality carried out a comprehensive general cleaning, maintenance and repair work in cemeteries and mosques before Eid al-Adha.
Cleaning teams, who worked hard to ensure hygiene conditions in cemeteries and mosques frequently visited by citizens, cleaned carpets, altars, pulpits, podiums, shoe cabinets, ablution cubicles, doors and windows in mosques, cleaned leaves, dried branches and weeds that had accumulated on the roadside in cemeteries and carried out pruning and maintenance on trees.
Wishing all citizens a healthy and peaceful holiday, Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “Our holidays, where we come together with our loved ones and visit the graves of our departed loved ones more often, are the taste and salt of all of us. As Melikgazi Municipality, we are carrying out comprehensive cleaning works before the upcoming Eid al-Adha, just like we do before every holiday, so that our citizens can worship in a healthy and peaceful way and visit the graves of their loved ones in a clean and decent way. We provide services to our citizens by providing the necessary hygiene conditions with our general cleaning, maintenance and repair works. In mosques, a deep maintenance was carried out, from carpet cleaning to glass cleaning, from fountain cleaning to pulpit cleaning. Tree pruning, leaf sweeping, grass cutting and general landscaping works were carried out in cemeteries. Our mosques and cemeteries are ready for the holiday. I sincerely congratulate all our citizens on the holiday.”
