“Comfortable roads, safe transportation…”

Melikgazi Municipality, within the scope of road construction and renovation works carried out throughout the district in 2025, used 130,000 tons of asphalt and built 80 km of roads.

Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu stated that they carried out road construction and renovation works totaling 741 km in length between 2019 and 2025. Road construction and renovation works, carried out to make transportation more comfortable and safer throughout the district and to provide quality service to citizens, have made transportation easier. President Palancıoğlu stated that the construction of new roads, the maintenance and repair of existing roads, and asphalt works that greatly ease transportation will continue; “Comfort in transportation is a symbol of civilization. In Melikgazi, one of Turkey’s largest districts with 58 neighborhoods and a population of 600,000, we are carrying out road construction and renovation works to meet the needs of our citizens and ease transportation. With the asphalt season that started in April 2025, we have completed road works of 80 km in length using 130,000 tons of asphalt throughout our district. I wish that our works, which we carry out in every corner of our district as needed, will be beneficial. I thank my colleagues who work with great dedication.
