Mayor of Melikgazi, Dr. Mustafa Palancioglu the renovation works are ongoing with the AK Party Kayseri Deputy Taner Yıldız.They visited Gon Han and made investigations. AK Party Kayseri Deputy Taner Yıldız, AK Party Melikgazi District District Head of Melikgazi Gökhan Ülke and his management participated in the review.

            Stating that Gön Han, which is a historical heritage, will gain the value it deserves after the work done, The Mayor Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “We shared with our Minister Taner Yıldız the work in Gön Han, which we started months ago and which gave us great excitement, 501 years ago by Piri Mehmet Pasha. This place is really a great value for Kayseri. In particular, if we want the Grand Bazaar to come to life and the shopkeepers to smile, it is necessary to bring a nice place to this region, especially the Gön Han and then the Vizier Inn. In this context, we work intensively, especially after closing the bazaar in the evening, in order not to victimize the tradesmen. We removed 340 trucks of excavation. This is what happened last. 2.5 meters down. We are planning to complete the renovation of this place very quickly. With the permission of the Board of Monuments, our work continues. The activities we will do here will bring vitality to the tourism and commercial life of Kayseri. As Melikgazi, we are the district with the most historical monuments.
