MELIKGAZI MUNICIPALITY ACHIEVED APPROXIMATELY 23 MILLION TURKISH LIRA IN ENERGY SAVINGS BY 2025 THROUGH RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES.
Melikgazi Municipality, which has achieved successful work in the field of renewable energy sources,
managed to save approximately 23 million Turkish Lira in energy in 2025.
Energy equivalent to the annual electricity consumption cost of 1400 apartments is produced from a renewable energy source with an installed capacity of 3.71 MW. This energy is provided by solar energy panels located in the Melikgazi Municipality
Main Service Building, Melikgazi Bazaar, market places and Büyük Bürüngüz
agricultural irrigation area.
