Stating that businesses are meticulously examined in the inspections carried out to ensure that citizens have a healthy, safe and peaceful Ramadan, Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, "Our municipal police teams are conducting inspections to prevent any food production and sales that threaten the health of our citizens; and also to ensure that citizens can buy and consume their food with peace of mind and in a peaceful manner. They are meticulously checking price tags, hygiene conditions, expiration dates, and weights. In addition, our inspections will continue to increase throughout the month of Ramadan to prevent exorbitant price increases and to ensure fair competition in the market.
