Melikgazi Municipality police teams conducted a comprehensive inspection in markets throughout the district to ensure that citizens can shop safely and healthily.

During the inspections, the expiration dates of the products were checked.

Dates, shelf and cash register price compliance, hygiene rules, label information and business documents were also examined.

Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, stating that the teams conduct inspections based on routine checks and requests from citizens, said, "Our municipal police officers, who are subject to many responsibilities such as taking the necessary precautions for the health and safety of our citizens in our district, are fulfilling their duties with great effort. We continue our inspections regularly throughout the year, not at certain times, in order to protect public health and guarantee consumer rights. Safe and healthy shopping in our district is one of the most important issues we prioritize. In this regard, we also conduct inspections at markets, bakeries, butcher shops, and other food businesses at certain intervals.
