Planting a tree is like investing in the afterlife. One of the greatest good deeds is planting a tree. As Melikgazi Municipality, our slogan is ‘We are planting trees, not saplings’. Since our trees are very large, we are planting them with a backhoe, not by hand. 10-15 "We planted our mulberry trees, which are 25-30 centimeters in diameter and have sycamore leaves, in the median of Alpaslan Türkeş Boulevard in the İldem region. We can plant our potted trees 365 days a year. There is no need to wait for the season. Since we also irrigate the roots of the tree with drip irrigation, the growing roots of the tree do not damage the road. We are planting these trees in every region of Melikgazi. Thanks to our colleagues. They are working with dedication. We have purchased exactly 5,000 sycamore, mulberry, linden and other trees. We are saving time for Melikgazi. By planting mature trees instead of waiting 10-15 years for small saplings to grow, we are ensuring that our district becomes greener quickly.
