Melikgazi Municipality, which provides education in schools with the "Mobile Zero Waste Collection and Education Vehicle", gave zero waste training to students at Osman Ulubaş Kindergarten to raise awareness.

Saying that a detailed training on zero waste and recycling was given in order to raise environmentally friendly generations, Melikgazi Municipality Mayor Assoc. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu said, “Recycling recyclable waste and bringing it back into the economy is very important for a clean world and a sustainable life. Therefore, we must recycle waste and bring it back into the economy. With our mobile zero waste collection and education vehicle, we visit schools in our district, and interactive presentations are given by our expert teams in our mobile education vehicle. Students both have fun and learn here. In this way, we bring the service to the students who cannot come to our Melikgazi Municipality recycling facility and raise their awareness. It is necessary to raise awareness of environmentally conscious individuals from a young age. Because we know that conscious generations are the guarantee of a clean future. Our trainings will continue in different schools, including those in the center and rural areas.” said.

The young students also supported the recycling efforts by giving the waste they collected in blue bags at home to the authorities.
