Palancıoğlu stated that a very important deficiency was addressed with the establishment of the Art Melikgazi Center, and that the trainings provided would yield good results, saying the following:
“We thank our esteemed City Council President Serdar Altuntuğ and the valuable members of the city council. Our city has many positive aspects from different perspectives. As we discover these features and invest in them, we see results that will surprise us. With our art center, we have observed how eager people are in this regard; that there are many people who want to receive training in art, who want to practice, and even who want to teach here. Approximately 14-15 different workshops and trainings will be given here. We will start holding exhibitions here in the coming days. Therefore, we hope to fill a major gap in Kayseri with this center.” We will have relieved it, at least to some extent. Please, art lovers, closely follow the course schedules of Art Melikgazi. This place will operate in a different format, and those who receive training here will eventually be able to earn a living from this work, make money, and become employed. It will function as a kind of applied academy. I also thank my colleagues who contributed to this. May it be auspicious.”
Art Kayseri City Council President Serdar Altuntuğ, stating that people receiving education in Melikgazi will contribute to the cultural and artistic life, said, “As the City Council, we came to visit the art center that our Melikgazi Municipality has brought to our city. We congratulate our President and his team. As the City Council, we want to visit and support all projects that can contribute to the cultural and artistic life of our city, or to the social life, with our relevant working groups. We invited our Fine Arts Faculty, our high school and all our friends who are involved in art and cultural activities here. As you know, we had previously visited a very important project like Gön Han. These types of projects are very important for the future of our city. Hopefully, the people receiving education here will also contribute to the cultural and artistic life of the city. "We will offer it. I also discussed with our President that trainings can be given to people who want to go to Fine Arts Faculties and high schools. We also thank the participants very much. They are all interested people, thank you, it was a good informative session. We will continue to support these types of activities. We thank our President and his team," he said.
