Continuing its work with a digital municipality vision, Melikgazi Municipality has equipped its AI-based assistant MEGA (Melikgazi Municipality Smart Assistant) with new capabilities. MEGA, which has received intense interest from citizens, can now perform debt inquiry transactions in seconds.

Record Demand: 1153 Interactions in 24 Hours

The system's efficiency is reflected in the numbers. MEGA set a digital record by receiving exactly 1153 requests on its busiest day. This statistic reveals how actively the assistant is used and how much it produces solutions. Serving a citizen every 75 seconds on average, 24 hours a day, MEGA significantly reduces the workload of municipal staff, working 24/7 to allow citizens to receive information without being bound by working hours. Developed within the Melikgazi Municipality Research and Development Directorate, this technology proves that the municipality is not only a technology consumer but also a technology producer. With the newly added debt inquiry feature, citizens can; Citizens can access information about their debts, such as property tax, environmental cleaning tax, and advertising tax, with a single message.
