Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, along with students from the Melikgazi Municipality Mehmet Altun Aviation and Space Technologies Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, attended TEKNOFEST Istanbul, organized by the T3 Foundation and the Ministry of Industry and Technology.

Mayor Palancıoğlu stated that Turkey has become one of the world's leading countries with its science and technology advancements in recent years, and that they will support this with the Melikgazi Municipality Mehmet Altun Aviation and Space Technologies Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School. “TEKNOFEST brings together technology enthusiasts with events in many categories, from aviation demonstrations and artificial intelligence competitions to unmanned aerial vehicles and rocket simulations. We are offering TEKNOFEST together to our students who have started their education at our Aviation High School.” I had promised to travel. We came to the 13th TEKNOFEST, held in Istanbul, with our students. Here, we examined Türkiye's first aircraft engine, the Hürkuş, and the Baykar Bayraktar TB2 and TB3 unmanned aerial vehicles, and toured the exhibition of sea, land, and air vehicles. Our students, who attended TEKNOFEST, the world's largest aviation, space, and technology festival, were very excited and happy. Having seen all the technologies and aircraft related to their departments, they left the festival with pride and great hope. They witnessed many successful projects related to their fields. This festival demonstrates Turkey's strength in technology and innovation. Important steps are being taken here to train future leaders, engineers, and scientists. We view TEKNOFEST not only as an event; it is also a place where our young people develop their technological skills and realize their dreams. Furthermore, as Melikgazi Municipality, for the last three years "We provided material support to the students participating in TEKNOFEST. With the support we provide to education, we strive to create a generation that researches, continuously improves itself, and produces. Hopefully, our students graduating from our school will be the architects of such successful services and projects," he said.

President Palancıoğlu also met with Vice President of Defense Industries Prof. Dr. Hakan Karataş, TAI General Manager Dr. Mehmet Demiroğlu, TAI Deputy General Manager Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Öztürk, and TAI Engine Industries Inc. (TEI) General Manager Prof. Dr. Mahmut Faruk Akşit as part of the festival.
