Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Mustafa Palancıoğlu, on the first day of Eid al-Adha, which is observed between June 6 and June 9, 2025, visited the sacrificial animal market established by Melikgazi Municipality behind the Mimarsinan Organized Industrial Zone and celebrated the holiday with the tradesmen and citizens.

There was a real holiday excitement at the sacrificial animal sales and slaughtering area, which was put into practice so that citizens could perform their sacrificial duties in a hygienic and safe environment.

In addition to the sacrificial animal sales and slaughtering area, there are also slaughtering areas in 19 different indoor markets. Mayor Palancıoğlu, who stated that all services from cleaning to spraying will be carried out by Melikgazi Municipality teams, said the following:

We have 2 monorail slaughter lines for slaughtering large animals here. We also made space for slaughtering 50 small cattle. All kinds of facilities are ready through our colleagues.
