Melikgazi Mayor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Palancıoğlu issued a message on the occasion of Laylat al-Qadr, the spiritual crown of the month of Ramadan, congratulating the entire Islamic world on this blessed night. In his message, President Palancıoğlu emphasized the blessings, mercy, and spiritual atmosphere of Laylat al-Qadr, wishing peace and tranquility to the entire Islamic world and stating the following: “We are experiencing the joy of observing Laylat al-Qadr, which is better than a thousand months. Laylat al-Qadr is among the last days of Ramadan, the sultan of eleven months.” We are filled with peace as we reach the Night of Power. I pray that this blessed night brings peace and blessings to all the Islamic world, especially my fellow citizens of Melikgazi. I pray that the Night of Power will be a means for the forgiveness of us all, the acceptance of our prayers, and the strengthening of our unity and solidarity. I especially hope that the cries rising from oppressed regions will cease, and that the Islamic world will reach a holiday where peace and tranquility are embraced. May our Night of Power be blessed.”
